Celebrated journalist Abigail Pogrebin's collection of interviews with famous Jews, Stars of David is now a brand-new musical at Philadelphia Theatre Company. During lunch, Pogrebin will interview two of Philadelphia's most influential Jews: Sharon Pinkenson of the Greater Philadelphia Film Office and Ivy Barsky, head of the National Museum of American Jewish History. Then we head across the street for the matinee performance of Stars of David featuring music and lyrics by some of Broadway's best composers, including Marvin Hamlisch, William Finn, Sheldon Harnick, and others
