Organized crime in the United States is both a drain on the national economy and a continually fascinating subject of popular culture. Rarely highlighted but ever-present, organized crime in Jewish society is surrounded by conflicts of money, power, and faith. Rabbi Lance J. Sussman, PhD, and his colleague Joan Myerson Shrager, MEd, will investigate the complicated history of the Jewish people and their illegal acts throughout US history.

Take a rare look at this Philadelphia gem with JIFF! This event will explore the historic Rosenbach Museum and Library, taking a hands-on look at the organization’s expansive collection of rare books and texts. We’ll also catch a glimpse of the Rosenbach’s amazing collection of early Hebrew texts, with some of the earliest printed in the 15th century. This tour is limited to 20 people, so be sure to register early!

Led by Barbara Greenspan Shaiman and Mary Catherine Dabrowski of The Life Planning Network, participants will take away strategies to chart their own course, explore opportunities to live a life of personal fulfillment, and expand social engagement.
